Hi There!!
On my recent visit to Bern, Switzerland, I tasted the best and lightest macarons ever. Yes! I am speaking about Luxemburgerli. I discovered Luxemburgerlis at Sprüngli. They are quite different in terms of looks and taste in comparison with traditional macarons. They are smaller in size(2.5cm) and have very very light filling.
We tasted the raspberry, dark chocolate, caramel and champagne flavors. Among all the champagne flavored macaron was a clear winner :) Look how tiny and cute they are. And on a second note they are quite pricy ;-) We paid 10CHF for 20 gm.
Bon appetite!
